Season’s Greetings to All! It seems as quickly as January 2017 came and went, December 2017 has come and will soon be gone! I am amazed how quickly this year has passed!
I want to begin by thanking everyone who was a part of the 2017 Festival of Trees Annual Holiday Fundraising Event! From the SRCI inmates who helped put up the lattice, garland, and put trees together, to the volunteers who spent hours cutting wire for ornaments, putting wire on ornaments to secure to the trees, decorating the trees, helping put merchandise in place, donating decorated trees, wreaths and centerpieces. Thank you to all of the businesses and individuals who sponsored trees, wreaths, centerpieces, arrangements and lanterns. Thank you to everyone who purchased the beautiful trees and all of the wonderful items Festival of Trees had for sale. And thank you to Santa and Frosty the Snowman who came on Saturday. A special thank you to a great committee, each of you give so much of yourselves! And a huge thank you to Bob and Linda Quinn and the Clarion Inn and Staff and to John Dillon and the Argus Observer! Each of you were a part of creating the magic of this Holiday Fundraising Event for Malheur County Meals on Wheels and Help Them to Hope!

In all of busy time, I hope you take have a time of remembering, a time of loving, a time or giving, a time of believing, a time of gratitude, a time to slow down, a time to simplify, a time of magic and a time of peace.
So, I will leave you with a Christmas Blessing
During this Christmas season, may you be blessed with the spirit of the season, which is Peace.
The gladness of the season, which is Hope.
And the heart of the season, which is Love.
