| Ontario Chamber of Commerce Activities
-Chamber Forum Luncheons-
Held weekly on Mondays, 12 noon at the Sizzler. This event features pre-scheduled
speakers, community announcements, and activities going on during the week/month.
-Business After Hours-
A scheduled event, usually held around 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the business/organization. This
event is attended by the Chamber Ambassadors, Board and Chamber members. It also gives
the individual business/organization the opportunity to promote themselves.
-Ribbon Cuttings-
A scheduled event, usually held around 10:30 am at the business/organization. This event is
attended by the Chamber Ambassador, the Argus Observer photographer and Chamber
Executive Director. The Chamber sets up the event, provides the ribbon and
scissor. The Argus Observer photographer takes a picture and places it in the
newspaper. The picture is also featured in our Chamber Newsletter
-ONTCCY-
A yearly event held in March. This annual auction features items collected from
Chamber members to be auctioned off in a fun filled evening with a big dinner.
All the proceeds go toward operational expenses of the Chamber office.
ADDITIONAL CHAMBER ACTIVITIES/EVENTS
-Agri/Business Tour-
Yearly event held in June. A tour that showcases Agriculture in the Treasure
Valley.
-America's Global Village Festival-
Yearly event held the first Saturday of June. This event hosts food,
entertainment, children's activities and items from a variety of different
cultures such as Basque, Japanese, German and Scottish.
-Annual Banquet-
Second Friday in January. This event honors distinguished citizens of the year
with a formal dinner.
-Breakfast with Santa-
The day before the Winter Wonderland Parade at 6:45 a.m. This fun event provides a Christmas
party for businesses and the community to kick off the Holiday celebrations and Winter Wonderland Parade. It
also introduces the Grand Marshal, Junior Marshal and Winter Wonderland Parade Queen Court.
-County Fair Breakfast-
First day of the Fair at 7:00 a.m. The Malheur County area Chambers host a continental breakfast for
the fair kids and parents.
-Easter Egg Hunt-
Held the Saturday preceding Easter. This is a Chamber sponsored event that
provides children of different age groups with an Easter egg hunt.
-Kris Kringle Golf Tournament-
Yearly event held in September. A special, goofy golf tournament, with all
proceeds going toward the Winter Wonderland Parade and Queen Coronation.

Nine month long program (September - May), helps business members enhance their
leadership skills.

-Queen Coronation-
Held in November. A special program with Treasure Valley Homecoming Queens,
vying for the Winter Wonderland Parade Court (One Queen, Two Princesses).
-Winter Wonderland Parade-
Celebrating 50 Years!
First Saturday in December commencing at 1:30 p.m. This event is a
holiday parade for the community.
